How many fouls does it take to foul out in NBA basketball?

I’m trying to understand the foul limit in National Basketball Association games. How many personal fouls can a player commit before they are disqualified?
Also, are there any differences in foul limits compared to college or international basketball?

In the National Basketball Association, a player is disqualified from the game after racking up 6 personal fouls. Once they hit that limit, they have to leave the court and can't come back. This rule is in place to ensure fair play and to keep the game from getting too rough.
