There have been many legendary goalkeepers like Lev Yashin and Manuel Neuer who changed the game. It’s always debated based on achievements, skills, and impact. Different eras also make comparisons difficult. Who do you think is the greatest goalkeeper ever?

It's tough to pinpoint a single greatest goalkeeper because it really varies depending on the era and the criteria you use. Icons like Lev Yashin often get the nod for their incredible impact and achievements. Meanwhile, modern legends like Manuel Neuer have completely transformed the position with their unique playing style. Ultimately, it all boils down to personal opinions and the level of success each player has achieved.

While there may not be a definitive answer to who the greatest goalkeeper is, Lev Yashin often stands out as a top contender due to his legendary influence on the game. Modern icons like Manuel Neuer also make the list of the all-time greats. Ultimately, the choice often comes down to the era and personal preferences.

The greatest goalkeeper in world is a title which is subjective and varies with time and performance. Thibaut Courtois is now being hailed with applause because of his ability to save shots, position and consistency. Such legends as Gianluigi Buffon and Manuel Neuer are also viewed as some of the best historically and therefore being greatest is somehow up to individual opinion and decision.

It’s one of those debates that never really ends because it depends on what you value. If you’re talking about right now, Thibaut Courtois or Gianluigi Donnarumma usually top the list because they’re just so dominant in big moments. But if we’re talking about the "GOAT," most people point to Lev Yashin since he’s the only keeper to ever win the Ballon d'Or, or Gianluigi Buffon for how long he stayed at the absolute top. Personally, I think Manuel Neuer changed the game the most. He basically turned the keeper into an extra defender.
