How many innings are played in college baseball games?

I’m trying to understand the structure of college baseball games. Are they the same length as professional games, or are there differences in innings or rules? Also, what happens if the game is tied after the standard number of innings?

College baseball games, much like those in the NCAA, are usually played over 9 innings, just as in the professional leagues. Each inning is split into two halves, giving both teams a chance to bat and field. If the score is tied after 9 innings, the game moves into extra innings until a winner is determined. However, in certain tournaments or during doubleheaders, the games might be shortened to just 7 innings by rule.

In college baseball, games typically last for 9 innings, much like in professional baseball. If the score ends up tied, they head into extra innings until someone comes out on top. However, in some doubleheaders or special situations, they might play 7-inning games instead.

College baseball games usually run for 9 innings, just like in professional baseball. Each inning is divided into two halves, giving both teams a chance to bat and play defense. If the game is tied after those 9 innings, they keep playing extra innings until someone comes out on top. That said, some games might get cut short because of bad weather or certain tournament rules.
